TIAMAT VS TAKSHAKA

[You are whisked away to a small, dark crypt. Torches flicker on the cobweb-covered walls and a mysterious stone altar stands in the center of the room. There are two holes carved into the top of the altar: one is empty, and in the other stands a rod with a team-colored flag attached. Lined up in front of the flag are guns for every member of your team, but you all know instinctively that they're harmless. Hanging on the wall behind the altar is a parchment with the instructions of the game.]

Well, we should have at least one person here to guard our flag, but we should also plan on how to have a strong offense at the same time.

Re: TIAMAT CRYPT

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2014-10-26 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
Well.. think about it. One person goes right in to their crypt, and gets shot a bunch, and is out.

But they can still move and play, right? It's just your gun that stops. So you can still grab their flag and come right back here.
beeseeingyou: (should we leave?)

Hmmm....

[ well the two of you are bigger than him... ]

Maybe if you and Sparrow went in to the left and to the right, to kinda go in from both sides? I--I can guard our flag.

I think we should start off defending rather than attacking. Our crypt is pretty secure, so they would only have one way to get in and we can take advantage of that!

[ Thinking about it, and then nodding. ]

Sparrow and I should decide which of us should attempt to take the fall to allow the other the best chance of success, as well. But it's probably best for you to guard; holding your ground should be easier than attacking.

The issue with that is that victory is won not by defending, but by attacking.

Leaving one person to guard the flag is risky. If they're "out" they can still make a grab for the flag, they just can't shoot us.

In this case, it could be. In order for them to get our flag, they'll have to come to us. As long as we take out all the members of Tiamat before they get our flag or get us out, we'll win by default.

[ gestures to the paper ]

And I'd bet my wardrobe they've noticed the loophole in the rules too.
fuhrinkaed: (Leave it to me!)

Re: TIAMAT CRYPT

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2014-10-26 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
I'll take our flag, and hide in a crypt. I'll keep my gun trained at the door, and anyone who comes in I'll shoot at, friend or foe.

You go to their crypt and steal their flag. Then, you run away. When you get out, yell as loud as you can... um... 'Dragons, burning brightly!!' or something.

That way, I'll know to run back here and plant the flag so it's waiting for when you get back.
