AMALTHEA

[ Inside the tree, it's much larger than it seemed on the outside, or is it that you're much smaller? In any case, the air smells of pine needles and sap, and there are comfortable chairs scattered around for you to sit in, as well as a table in the center of the round room. There's something on that table... ]

...Wilder. Is the purpose of this gift to be the best gift for our comptition, or to annihilate our competition?
headonist: (aw yeah.)

How could such a beautiful lady ask such a ruthless question?

I'm afraid I'm not telling you what the next part of the game is, exactly. Make the best gift you can. Everyone will do better that way, including you.

...A team of heroes should have something which unites them. A special object that denotes their team.

A blade for each of them, that when hey grasp hold of it the steel of the weapon changes color to match the one that is associated with their nickname. For instance, Green Wren's would be green. Likewise, Yellow Sparrow's would turn yellow, and White Swan would be white. The hilt, grasp, and pommel shall be Takshaka purple with golden trim.

...And a mysterious Amalthean blue gem shall be set in the hilt of each, right at the base of the blade itself on one side.

Is that too complex?

[pause, and a "hmm" noise]

That's fine, if you don't mind them being decorative swords and not very dangerous ones.
goodbyenurse: (Trust me.)

That is perfectly acceptable. Most of Takshaka would rather die than actually harm another person, in my experience.

[and pop! The swirling ball of potential materializes into the aforementioned swords, which then rattle into the box, followed by a small amount of packing material. It closes, then disappears.]

[Ten questions...]

[Fshuuuuu...]

Is the correct answer a single word?

[Large, heavy, multiple objects, one major and several minor.]

Wilder, what specifically constitutes 'opening the box?'
headonist: (thought.)

Either tearing off the bow and opening it the proper way, or cutting it open in any way so that you can clearly see and feel the contents. Sorry, my dear. You don't have an easy out of this one.

[Tch.]

[...wait]

So then, to ensure I understand, 'opening the box' is defined as 'opening it in any way which allows me to clearly see and feel the contents.' I trust this would mean that poking a hole too small to see through or feel through in order to attempt to identify any distinctive odors would not fall outside of this purview.
