Welcome to Jambudvipa!

Well, specifically, Gangaridai, a jungle region in the easternmost part of the subcontinent of Jambudvipa, which is currently under the rule of the semi-native Gurkhani Empire. It's a ~*strange and mystical land*~...well, at least to all of you.

You, the MISSIONARIES, are here from The United Empire, in order to spread your superior culture and philosophy to the natives of this land! They could definitely use your help, right? Of course, you also want to assure the Gurkhani emperor that you're here to provide any humanitarian aid they may need. They may be below you, but they're still people

The trials that await you and how you handle them will determine the fate of the region, and perhaps the entire nation, in the years to come...

The rules of this game are simple! You will be presented with a series of scenarios, and the goal is to accomplish them in such a way that it furthers your group's goal, to the best of your ability! In order to aid you in this, you have a SPECIAL ABILITY that you can use once during the game!

MISSIONARIES - Can give a ROUSING AND POIGNANT SPEECH to convince a person or group to do almost anything.

ROUND ONE

Landfall!

You are, of course, not the first foreigners to arrive on these shores. The United Empire has sent several ships and advance parties already, but the Gurkhani have been less than accepting of them. This time, however, it'll be different.

You've already commandeered an old base camp at the edge of the jungle, and the ship you came on has a wide array of carpentry, mining (including a few sticks of dynamite!), and construction tools, but very little supplies. There's a quarry not too far away, even.

You need to set to work improving the camp to defend it in case you are attacked. Currently, a few natives from a nearby village are watching you and your crew as you prepare.

We, uh. We've been in her games before, and we've sort of... every time, refused to play properly and tried to do good. Spread stuffed animals instead of dangerous weapons, shut down dangerous factories, shit like that.

But we can take advantage of that and do actual good. The rules say our job is to provide aid, so as long as we do that successfully, we can fuck up anything ulterior and still win.

[ The camp's biggest weakness is...well, it's the fact that it's completely and totally open to everything. There's the pathetic crumbling remains of some stone walls that must have once been protecting it.

Nearby, you're able to find RED PANDAS, FOXES, and a TIGER'S DEN. ]
