You're in a room somewhat similar to the Cats common room, at least in terms of furniture and decor. There's a small wooden table covered in papers on one side of the room and several comfortable chairs by a fireplace on the other. The walls are lined with bookshelves, each full of books. There are also two doors, very different from each other in appearance.
Despite the fire crackling in the fireplace, the room isn't very warm, and something about it feels slightly uncomfortable.

The papers haphazardly spread across the table seem to all be notes on good manners and restrained behaviour. There's nothing particularly interesting about them, though one thing that catches the eye is a scribbled addition to one note: "Don't pretend to be fine."
In contrast to the mess that most of the papers are in, there are a few that have been folded neatly and set to the side.
