You step into a small airy room made entirely of porcelain and frosted glass. Squishy armchairs — the old fashioned type; pretty velvet affairs with patterns of roses in your team’s color and legs of dark wood — line the walls.

Pride of place in the center of the room is a table, upon which rests: a list of instructions; a spread of cards; and a box made out of mirrored glass with eleven slits in the top. Each slit is outlined in a team color.

Beyond the table is a huge, floor to ceiling hourglass. A certain number of blood red crystals reside at the bottom ...

Raptors are birds of prey, but there is also a genus of dinosaur that has the same name.

I wonder which it is...?

It must be the dinosaur, a raptor is merely a slightly less boring chicken - How would it be a greater threat than removing a body part?

They aren't all big - the raptors were very small. I think... they were around half a metre in height, but they were dangerous, and still bigger than the bird raptors.

They're biologically similar, though - the dinosaurs have talons similar to the birds, so regardless of which it means...
