Years ago, you recieved a charter from the United Empire, and were officially made a member of the newly christened Trade Company! Your goal was to seek fortune wherever it may be found in this strange land...of course, through force of arms, if the natives failed to cooperate.

But now things are different. You no longer work for the Empire, but for your homeland of Tataria -- and to a lesser extent, the people you've come to associate here in Jambudvipa. With a group of trained revolutionaries and dissidents at your disposal, you are prepared to bring the liberty your own nation has found from its monarchs and dictators to Jambudvipa, as well.

What are you here for? To find a way to harness the power of these spirits for the good of all mankind. The march of progress cannot be stopped, not even by the supernatural.

Take all these lands have to offer, and bring forward the dawn of a new age!

Landfall! That's what you all said years ago, when you first arrived here. The once small tradepost on the coast of Jambudvipa is now a bustling port town...appropriately called Landfall. The heroes responsible for the success of this important outpost of Western culture are symbolized by a statue of a pink tiger, ridden by a young lady that could only be described as a princess, both roaring fiercly into the sky.

There are cargo ships currently docked at the piers, and the dock workers are busy hauling crates all around. The townspeople pay you no mind, ducking in and out of the shops and guilds and homes.

To the WEST is the QUARRY.
To the EAST is some jungle.

Ah, that's not it; the troublesome part is that I think she's taken away our skills. I can't remember how to use a sword at the moment, and normally I would be able to to.

But, you're right. It's better to focus on the objective. Which do you think will be less dangerous?

Aah. I'd say if we don't know how to use a sword, going into the jungle is a no-no for now. The quarry might have something worthwhile too.

What do you think about going to the quarry? It seems my skill at swordplay has been removed, so traveling to the jungle may be more of a risk.

QUARRY

The quarry is supplied with the latest explosives, and staffed by no one younger than the age of 16! The workers wear green shirts and have a dog's paw stamped upon their helmet, supposedly in remembrance of the dark times when children were forced to work here and of the brave souls who stopped such horrible practices.

...It's pretty deep and even the paths down are incredibly steep. This is probably not a safe place for anyone to work, really. Don't fall in!

To the WEST is a FORGE.
To the SOUTH is a LABORATORY.
