You are in what looks to be a large operating room (actually cleaned and sterilized!). In the center is a standard operating table, and on either side are two... humanoid beings. Alchemical automatons, made out of metal, flesh, wire, a paper substance - all kinds of substances put together. Their cold, dead black eyes gaze at you. Staring. Empty.

Along the edges of the room are large tubes - containers filled with an odd fluid. Most are empty, except for two - in two are body parts.

The two automatons are here to help you BUILD A BODY!

Goals:
1. Build a body: Head, Torso, Arms, Legs, and a Heart.
2. The quality of the parts are Excellent, Normal, and Poor. You want the best quality body for your creation!

Each automaton can do one task per round. Delegate!
Part quality can be increased!

Tasks for the automatons:
- Steal part from another team: there is a 20% chance of failure, and organ quality upon successful theft is 40% Poor, 30% Normal, 10% Excellent.
- Collect parts: there is a 10% chance of failure, and organ quality upon successful collection is 40% Poor, 30% Normal, 20% Excellent.
- Improve quality: automatons can spend a turn making a selected part better! There is a 5% chance of failure. If the part is Poor quality, there is a 5% chance of it going directly to Excellent quality.
- Trade: Send an automaton to another team to trade organs! Tell it the message you want it to relay and which part to bring with it. THE OTHER TEAM DOES NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT, and the automaton will return with the part it had.

We need to get arms, legs and a heart... and improve the head's condition.

We should send at least one of them out to... um, collect parts.

Collecting parts is our best bet, right?

The head's definitely abysmal. I think it's too soon to try asking other teams for parts, though. Why don't we go have one of them improve quality and the other can collect some more parts?

Agreed. We still have a lot we're missing.

Then it sounds like having one collect and the other fix the head is our best bet.

We need to fix the head up too.

For now... Arms and legs aren't necessary to live, so that's probably our lowest priority.

So we'll have them look for more parts, and improve the head this turn?

Can we specify that we want them to look for a heart? Or is it totally random?

One searches for parts, and one improves it?

No reason we can't specify.

I guess I thought because it's searching for whatever it can find, we'd just have to take what we can get. But if we can get them to look for just the things we need, then that would be better.

We should go ahead and let the automatons know, then. I don't think they'll move without our direct command.

We can ask, and if they don't come back with it, we'll know.

We're asking one automaton to search for a heart, and the other to improve the head.

Automaton 1 returns from their venture with Poor Heart! This look like it was ... not alive recently. It's kind of mushy and smells horrible.
Automaton 2 was successful in improvement! You now have a Good Head! The flesh looks much healthier and less mushy.
