I think it suits a story about betrayal and revenge.
Which means that the hero should probably have been backstabbed by the villain, then return to kill them.

revenge screwing the villain's partner or the villain?
Maybe you can paint this picture for me, it's outside my scope.
The villain takes something from our hero, and our hero goes to their island, they're all smug and thinks they get anything they want while they flirt. But in the end our hero ties them down and takes anything she wants.
