There's a pot of tea (because of course there is), a bowl of fresh-picked fruit, and a messy stack of blank papers and pencils. In the very center of the table is another piece of paper, this one with a very simple set of instructions written across the top.]
• As a team, create a list of story elements. This list must include:
-A setting -A hero -A villain -An object -A one-sentence quote
• General elements are usually better than overly-specific ones. No gaming the system! (Yeah, I'm looking at you, smartass.)
• That's it.
• So get goin' already!!

[The paper with your list suddenly rolls up and disappears in a tiny puff of smoke. After a moment, another paper appears and drops on the table in its place, unrolling itself helpfully to reveal a new set of instructions.]

-The place: A sky society where people fight with giant robots in a yearly (non-lethal) tournament to strive for the title of The Strongest Among the Heavens. -The hero: Knight. -The villain: Frost representing the inevitable death of all humanity etc etc -An important item: Sodomite -The line: "Your ass is mine."
• Stories will be judged by the other teams on the basis of both creativity and quality.
• So if you can't be good, ya' can at least try to be weird!!

They still have to make sense! Let's just do the volcano, and your god idea, and, um... I guess someone who has really bad luck is the only person who would want to kill a god. So they can be the villain, and the object can be a car!
Once upon a time there was this big, beautiful island floating in the sky called Sodom! The Sodomites were nice, friendly people, but they loved competition. Every year they would have this big tournament that everyone would fight in giant robots. The person who won would get the title of Strongest Among the Heavens. Everyone on the island had that dream, but there was one knight who was more determined than the rest. His name was Paul, and he was the bravest of all the Sodomites. He'd been training all his life to win the tournament, but there was another boy named David who was really jealous of Paul and how great he was. David bullied him all the time, saying stuff like "your ass is mine!" and pushing him around.
They started to fight, but David found a way to start freezing the arena so Paul's robot couldn't move. David couldn't control it as well as he thought he could, though, so frost began to overtake the entire island! If it wasn't bad enough that everyone could freeze to death, the island started to sink under all the extra weight. So, Paul and David had to team up to fix what David had started. Because they had to work together to save everyone, David started to see that he had been really unfair, and Paul began to see that David was just jealous because he felt really insecure. They found a way to unfreeze the island and they became best friends, and then all the Sodomites had a big celebration together!
