Mundane abilities are a-ok, as are items currently being carried. ✿ Backtracking is allowed within specific areas, but you will not be able to get back to the nexus/hub unless forcibly booted there or by "completing" an area. ✿ You're not alone, so feel free to trek through the areas with each other. ✿ Death may occur, but ICly it's pretty obviously fake and will only result in the aforementioned act of being booted back to the nexus/hub, no other consequences. ✿ Certain NPC tags will come from corresponding accounts, not soulping. ✿ BGM is for ooc flavor.
[ Falling into the heart is painful, a tightening sensation around your neck so that you can barely breathe, until there's a sickening snap! followed by a chilling blackness.
But luckily, it's over quickly.
When you open your eyes, you find yourself in a large, empty room, drab and beige with questionable shag carpeting. There are no windows, but a mass of filing cabinets and cardboard boxes both whole and ripped to pieces, are strewn about. There’s very little free floor space, so have fun hopping over the remnants of the boxes and each other.
At the very corner of the room is a single door. A black cat lays snoozing on a box near it. ]

Some of the drawers are locked, but others are open. Star can find a list of profiles. A few are entirely blurred out (everyone who died before case 3), and some only have photos (Kaoru, Athena, Iceland, etc).

So the one that helped out with my trial. Guess it's my turn to be helping her out with things. Can't complain being here, then. Even if it's the big bad witch running the show. [ and by that he means Nyssa, of course ]
I don't plan on making a wreck of this place. I'll do what I can on my end to help clean things up around here. This place seems to have tied us together with a bit of fate, so might as well strength that bond.
