You find yourself on top of a building. There's no goodies, no sign of even the echo themselves, but the rooftop is a tiny greenspace complete with flowering bushes, a tiny pond, and a few cooing pigeons. It's a miniature garden overlooking a busy city.

Below you, the streets are packed with cars jammed in stop-and-go traffic. People throng the sidewalks as they walk to and fro, talking on their cell phones, looking at their watches, hurrying to catch a bus or train. Adjacent to you are yet more buildings, some towering far into the sky and decked with giant tv screens mounted to their sides. Blaring lights and music and moving pictures pierce the quiet of the cool twilight sky.

Take a moment to appreciate the peaceful modern life around you.

There's so many people!

[ it's been a really long time since hel's allowed herself to be in a big city like this. 10 years? 20? 30? she's excited, and it shows. ]

just as a refreshing for hiyori's AU appearance:
1. no tail
2. she registers as a GOD now!! and a powerful one at that. who rules over death, entropy, etc). normal humans may not even realize she's there until addressed
3. her left eye is BRIGHT gold (like, blazing) in color, the right a normal dark, dark brown
4. she's wearing traditional folk clothing, crown included (left image) - but now it's covered in cyan ink, silver spray paint, and also blood stains. oops.
5. she's wearing a leather glove on her left hand, and from the appearance of her sleeve, it seems to extend up well past her elbow (there's literally nothing but bone underneath that glove from fingertip to elbow)
6. Her dark hair is in braids like pictured ]

Wait. Is that diamond really in the sky? Or is it lower? Down, down, down it comes, falling faster and faster, an arc of light that stops barely before you. A glowing sphere rings in symbols and flashing between an unsettled rainbow floats, suspended in the air, level to your faces.

A voice asks:
"Please—make a wish!"

It would seem to be coming from the orb of light.
