We can speak to the other teams, though. So that's a good thing. We usually ... can't. So trying to maybe figure out a solution together could be a good thing.
Diz said it seems to mirror a concept she's familiar with. Everybody has this power, everybody is worried that someone else will use that power on them, so attack first.
It's a game of trust.
Whether or not we press the button, something's going to happen. And since we're able to speak to each other ... it's probably a game of testing whether or not we do what we say we will. We can say "we're not pushing it" and then do it because we don't want to die.
Whatever happens, I don't want to become a liar to people I consider my friends. If all of the other teams decide to take a certain unanimous action ... I'm okay with standing with them.

Once, a long time ago there was a game where every team was going to die. Each team could pick one other team to shield, and everybody could send one message out to everyone. Through that, everybody lived because they went in alphabetical order.
The Echo lost a lot of power because everybody won.
If nobody shielded anybody, the Echo would have also lost power by having to revive everybody.
So solidarity seems like the best idea, no matter which choice it is.
If it means less games like this ... one less Echo to make us hurt each other and laugh about it and relish in the results ... well. I can't speak for anybody else, but it's good for me.

I'm just tired of games like this. Even if both choices were a fake-out and harmless ... one of the points of the game is trust. Trying to plant distrust between teams like that, [ His voice lowers a little. ] there's been too much that already.
