OMETOTCHTLI

[you’re ushered into doors that appear in the roots of Otto’s trees. The room is similar to last time - small, but with enough chairs for your entire team to sit down, and a table at the center. There's also a few, small beds, should anyone feel sick enough that they have to lay down.

On the table is another cardboard box, similar to last time as well. Only this time when you peer in, there’s a myriad of different herbs and other things. Otto’s voice echoes into the room with his usual, bored tone]

Last time, you cared for a friend of mine. This time, you’ll care for you and yours.

It looks like it... Most of them seem to be good for different types, huh?

I don't really know about any of this stuff. Aren't most of them things you put on food?

I am afraid I am not terribly familiar with these things either.

We are allowed to ask him questions, correct?

Yeah, we should do that.

I don't know a lot of them but all kinds of plants are good for medicines. Like I know nettles is good for fevers... But that's one of the only ones I know.

We can include that in our choice, then. We merely have to figure out what others we can use as well.

Charcoal... should be good for cleaning out wounds, or sterilizing them, is it not? I believe I have read that somewhere.

We could figure out which ones we might know and then ask...?

[nods]

Yes. Oranges have vitamins and... I believe ginger is good for this as well? But beyond that I am not certain.

Cat's Claw and thyme, I think...?

We really should ask, I haven't heard of a lot of these things. What the hell is lamb's cress? Mugwort?

Nettles, charcoal, oranges, ginger, cat's claw and thyme... are there any others that stand out? We'd need three more...

Though charcoal is good for sterilizing wounds, it also helps against stomach sickness... since that is what we are faced with.

I am all right with asking. But what exactly should we ask?

Maybe ginko...? But those are the only ones that seem really familiar for something.

Aah. Perhaps we can ask him if the ones we've picked will be useful together?
