There are cloud rooms for each team to hide in, each the color of their team.

You find yourself inside of a cute toasty cloud room with pork buns roasting over an open fire and candy snacks to munch on. It's a strange room in some ways that don't really work together. There is a TV playing some sort of weird martial arts tournament, and a bookshelf for reading.

There is also a multitude of yarn of every color.

It sounds ridiculous, not terrifying! Why not make it a large sea monster or sea dragon instead? Those are terrifying.

Then let's go with the horse idea. I still don't think it'll be very terrifying, but I suppose it is thematic.

[ FRONT AND CENTER IS THE MOST BADASS MAJESTIC FLAMING BLUE HORSE, ITS FACE TWISTED IN A MENACING WHINNY, EYES BLAZING LIKE BURNING EMBERS!! THE PONIES PRESENT IN THE GAME RIDE ITS BACK INTO BATTLE! They look really cool!!!! Especially Yato!!!! The backdrop is thunderclouds and fire and brimstone, all other teams' animals cower beneath the stallion's mighty hooves. And there are skulls and whatnot, it's all very impressive but also spooky, trust me. ]
