[Daisy struggles against the shadow's influence, but eventually it comes to a standstill. Abruptly, the shadow laughs, a howling evil cackle, and turns tail to run right into one of the mirrors. A cloud of darkness surrounds the mirror, and you can hear echoes of the shadow's laughter. An aura of power surges from it, and you can imagine a battle going on inside. If the shadow isn't subdued quickly enough, it may destroy Daisy completely.

If you decide to jump through the mirror, you will find yourself somewhere else...]

All powers are off, and everyone is running solo until otherwise specified. There is the possibility of injury, but no maiming or death will occur. On our side, I mean.

In each room, there will be a puzzle that must be solved before the Eluvian will activate and the way will be clear. You can solve the puzzles in any number of ways. However, the longer you take to solve them, the stronger the shadow will become. You can choose quicker/easier methods to solve the puzzles in order to reach the shadow sooner. Be warned, though: you also need to gather power to defeat it, and you can only gain power boosts through careful, deliberate problem-solving.

You have essentially three ways to solve each puzzle:

(1) Work at your own pace. This will take some time, but you will gain an equivalent amount of strength and fortitude necessary to defeat the shadow. The actual amounts will vary, depending on how you decide to go about it.
(2) Call out to the shadow. Its retorts will make it easier to find. This will take very little time, but you won't gain any power boosts.
(3) Ask the mysterious voice for help. They will lend you their power in order to bypass the room. This will take more time, but you will gain a considerable amount of boosts.

Each decision you make will be GRADED, and you will receive a time allotted amount and a power boost number. Note that it will be much more difficult to defeat the shadow if you aren't powerful enough or if you take too long to reach it.

[You enter a dim, circle-shaped room that feels oppressive, even claustrophobic, although the room itself is actually quite large. There are two large, imposing mirrors with odd carvings along the frame in here. The surface on these mirrors shimmer oddly, their reflection warped, and you know instinctively that these magical artifacts are called "Eluvians". It looks like you just came out of one of them, and the other one, on the other side of the room, has tendrils of darkness coiling around it. Bookshelves line the walls, overfilled with tomes upon tomes. Many of them are sorted haphazardly, some even shoved awkwardly in the spaces above the shelved books.

In the middle of the room is a low table with an impressively large tome lying open on it. The pages are moving swiftly of their own accord, and don't seem to be reaching the end of the book anytime soon. There's a quill nearby, but no ink. A few candelabras sit next to it, the flames giving an eerie flicker to the scene.

A hushed voice whispers in your mind; at first you can barely understand it. It's a rush of words in a language you're not entirely familiar with, but the more it speaks, the more you begin to understand:

"I am here... it is faint, but I can feel you. I need you to find the strengths hidden amongst the darkness. Only then will we be able to fight the thing waiting for us inside. I will help you, friend, if I can. Call to me if you seek aid... though I can only do so much. Our time is short. You must hurry!"

You understand the intent of the whispered words: you don't have much time. What will you do?]

[You enter a forest clearing. Stones have been laid in a circle to mark the barriers between where you can step freely and where you cannot. As before, there are two Eluvians: one behind you, and one ahead of you, at the opposite side of the clearing. It is wrapped in darkness tendrils, even thicker than before.

The scene before you is quite lovely, however. There are thirteen flowerbeds, each one labeled with the name of a team, and the colors of the flowers match. Purple violets for Takshaka, beige hydrangea for Ratatoskr, blue cowslips for Amalthea, and so on. It's all very colorful. However, there's definitely something off about them.

Also, there's a cat.]

[You enter a place that's... very different from the rooms you were in before. The sky is a hazy greenish-gray color, and eerie, unearthly lights dance about. Large craggy rocks that look as though they were carved from mountainsides hover in midair, unconnected to anything at all. High above you, in the distance, you see what looks like a floating island with black, foreboding spires. It looks as though you're standing on one of the hovering cliff rocks, with the Eluvian right behind you. But that's not all.

Because one of the first things you'll notice is that you're not alone anymore. All your other companions are here, some of them hovering in midair as well, or upside down, or sideways. Gravity doesn't seem to be a big deal anymore.

The second thing you'll notice is that there are two people sitting silently in the middle of the rock, back to back. They are completely shrouded in darkness.

[Suddenly, there is an ear-splitting CRACK, and something in the figures violently shifts. It takes you a moment to realize, but eventually you'll see that there is a hairline split running down each of the figures, as though they were statues, slowly breaking. Another CRACK, and the darkness around the figures comes into clearer view: black obsidian crystal pieces flutter to the ground. Again, and again, the cracking continues, until there is a great shattering of glass, and the figure on the left leaps towards you.

It's Daisy. She stumbles up with a cry of relief, tears streaming down her face, and she looks like she's about to say something to you... when the other figure shatters, as well.

The second figure rises violently, shards of obsidian striking out at you, and howls with rage. It looks like Daisy--only this time, you can really tell the difference. Her sclera is still black, with bright yellow pupils, and her hands and feet have warped into something inhuman, something monstrous. Instead of fingers and toes, she has long, animalistic claws, and dark purple veins running up her arms and legs. She grins at all of you, an angry, bloodthirsty grin, and you can see fangs protruding from her maw.

The shadow surges with power, and grabs Daisy as though she were a ragdoll, lifting her into the air by her neck.]

[The pages won't stop. It seems like they could just go on forever and never reach the end of the book. You catch glimpses of writing on the pages, but the pages move too fast for you to read them.]

[None of the books on the bookshelves are labeled. Well, technically they are. You can see faded gold lettering on the spines of the books, but they're far too long gone now for you to be able to tell what they say.

The books don't seem to be arranged in any particular order or size. The ones that don't fit in the normal shelving are shoved haphazardly in the nooks and crannies above each shelf.]

[You approach the Eluvian on the opposite side of the room, and you see that despite being a mirror, it isn't reflecting anything. It doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Perhaps that's due to the tendrils...?]

[The voice repeats it again, confirming.]

[She picks up the pen, then reaches out to try and stop the book's pages.]

[ reaching to take out one of those books that's shoved into the crannies above the shelf ]

[You catch glimpses of writing on the pages, but the pages move too fast for you to read them.]
