TIAMAT EVENT (CARETAKER)
( as you venture inside, you see clear signs of . . . something. there's more fur, more blood, more metal, and the air seems thicker.
the blue liquid trail leads you to. . .
a huge hole of darkness.
the air around it is warped, strange, almost like it isn't truly there at all. you don't get a good look at it before it sucks you inside. you do, however, definitely catch sight of the giant sigil that's been scratched into the floor. it may be familiar to some of you.
then—
you're falling. falling, falling, falling, but there is no ground in sight. there is only darkness and the faint glow of blue liquid trickling downward. it's quiet here, so quiet that you can only hear the thoughts inside of your own head and the steady drip of liquid.
ᴅʀɪᴘ DRIP ᴅʀɪᴘ DRIP ᴅʀɪᴘ.
then there is PAIN. it starts in your chest and sears its way across your limbs like a wildfire. it hurts, it hurts, it hurts. it hurts so bad that your vision tints red and all the thoughts sap from your head. you are alone with nothing but the sound of dripping and the sound of your body contorting. pop. snap. your body is changing, but you can't register any of it. you only know pain. it's enough to make one wish for the sweet release of death.
it feels like it goes on for years, one smeared eternity of blinding hurt. it hurts, it hurts, it hurts so fucking much! there's nothing you wouldn't do to stop it! nothing, nothing, nothing!
thankfully, you don't have to.
it all fades away like nothing as soon as your paws touch the ground. you feel better! great, in fact! strong as a hundred men and faster than any wildcat.
you let out a impressive snarl before finally blacking out. maybe that was all a bit too much? )
