[ In this isolated chamber, there are enough chairs around the rickety, rotten wooden desk to seat everybody. Some sunlight streams through the boarded windows to give enough light. You have pencils, pens, some scrap paper to brainstorm with, and a formal test sheet to put your final answers on. ]

►Answers will be judged based on “correctness” (from Sepsis’ point of view), though don’t worry if the answer isn’t right – she loves to laugh.
►Brainstorming/team interaction will also be judged; the more everyone is involved, the better! Have fun together!

Sepsis is still playing with her makeup and leeches back in the main room if you need her.

1. What is the Hippocratic Oath?
2. What are The Four Humors?
3. If a headache is persistent and severe, what is a method of curing it?
4. If a patient has depression and schizophrenia, what is a method of curing it?
5. What is the fever that leads to death?

I know the answer to the last one! It's Sepsis herself!

Jeez, how ominous. All right, let's write that down so we don't forget it.

[Grabbing some scrap paper and jotting down a note.]

Wow, that's. Something.

Hmm...It doesn't seem as though many of these can be simply reasoned out, so we'll have to answer based on whatever knowledge we have.

She told me her domain is sickness, so its not surprising.

Do you know anything about the other questions?

She probably wants the creepiest and most disgusting answers.

[Drumming his fingers for a moment.]

The four humors were something ancient doctors came up with to explain how the body functions--they were different fluids. But I can't remember what they were called.

It sounds really bad, but Sepsis is actually really nice! So long as you don't get sick.

That would certainly fit the...feel of this place.

Then we should go with... bodily fluids? They might fit the theme.

Um.

That still sounds kind of bad, Sparrow.

Number three: make a hole in their skull to let the pain out. Number four: scoop out their brain; she probably wants to hear things like that.

I'd like to say, "Don't give her what she wants," but we haven't won in some time.

Yeah. Bodily fluids, which aren't really humorous to swap, you know.

[ looking absolutely horrified by his last suggestion ]

We are absolutely not saying "scoop out their brain".

Seeing as how answering in an awful manner does not seem to pose any harm to others, I think aiming for victory is worth it.

For three, you could even remove the head altogether, as you wouldn't have a headache after that.

[ winces ]

So, blood... maybe saliva?

Well, I suppose there's a possibility that this is just "round one," and she'll actually put our answers into practice. You know--

What happens after we answer these things in the game? What will you do?

Ugh, if only I could remember...I had a feeling I knew strange facts like this before. But I don't anymore.
