The room is fairly simple, tatami mats on the floor, and racks upon racks of clothing haphazardly strewn around. On the racks are all sorts of clothing, some kimono and Japanese-inspired, some steampunk, but all quite formal.

On one wall, and on a table in front of it are weapons: katana, sets of kunai, battle fans, other Japanese weapons, and some steampunk-ish guns, some firing bullets, some energy weapons.

That is the question, isn't it? But since you asked, it is always good to have a weapon when you dress up.

[ After a while of mumbling and shuffling through clothes, Aoko holds up a few examples ]

[Testing firing an energy blast from one of the other guns when he looks over.]

...Oh! That first one has a kind of... magical girl vibe to it. I like it a lot!

That one's my favourite, too. [ She grins in relief. ]

And I think it'd look great on you while you're, uhm, while you look like a girl! [ Pauses, considering. ] ... Or probably even when you don't.

My thoughts exactly. The. Girl thing, I mean. I don't really like wearing dresses and stuff when I'm my usual self. It just feels off, somehow.

[He's already working on getting changed, though he pauses right after the cloak goes off.]

[ Whips around with a loud, dismayed squeak, her hands over her eyes. ]

[It's that incredibly cute outfit. With pink thigh-highs because it's still winter, and a wakizashi on one hip and an energy gun on the other. And another two energy guns behind that, all on a loose holster belt.]

[There's rustling, and then... more rustling, and Ed has decided to add 'pink thighighs' to the ensemble, by the time he finishes.]
