Epona and Cougar

The room is fairly simple, tatami mats on the floor, and racks upon racks of clothing haphazardly strewn around. On the racks are all sorts of clothing, some kimono and Japanese-inspired, some steampunk, but all quite formal.

On one wall, and on a table in front of it are weapons: katana, sets of kunai, battle fans, other Japanese weapons, and some steampunk-ish guns, some firing bullets, some energy weapons.

I guess it's time to play a little dress-up, then!

I must admit, I'm torn... This old-fashioned style really calls to me, but so do the kimono...

I'm Cougar, by the way. From the Cat team. This is my first time assisting a team in a game... I hope you'll treat me well.

Well, I'm Maya. Or Eveningstar. From Epona. [clasps her hands together and bows her head!] Nice to meetcha, Ms. Cougar.

[ She bows her head as well, then waves her hand lightly. ] "Cougar" is fine, Maya.

Though... [ Turning back to all this fashion. ] I think our choices will depend on who we choose as our model? Since this is your team, perhaps you'd like to do the honors.

Well... it's true that I'll look absolutely adorable in anything.....

But this is your first game, isn't it? Let's make it super memorable!

[ Given that everything is formal, which is totally her style, Cougar had a few tough decisions to make! But she eventually settles on this pretty floor-length number (which is truly impressive given her height) in Epona blue with cream and black accents. Peeking below the big bow under her neck is an eveningstar necklace, in reference to her fashion consultant.

She wasn't sure if she had to pick a weapon as well, but after some back-and-forth with Maya, she's sporting three concealed weapons: feather hat pins that are really kunai, a katana disguised as a walking stick, and a... thing... on her back that, when activated, pop a pair of six shooters over her shoulders. (What?! Also, "concealed.") Finally, she has a gun on her hip in a chic little steampunk-styled holster. ]

One can never be too cautious, I suppose.

It's actually my second. But it is the first game in which I'm aware of what's going on, as well as my first helping another team, so... Memorability would be a plus.

I would rather we not, though... I'd hate to get paint all over these beautiful clothes.

Well... we're gonna have to defend ourselves if they come at us, looking to ruin adorable and cool outfits!

[ Already unsheathing her katana. ]

[ If only she knew... well... any of her combat skills. But it's probably for the best, otherwise she'd be taking this way, way too seriously. ]

I seem to have the ability to erase one colored line per person per battle as well, so that should help.
