Rule #1: There can be only one left alive.

There are no other rules.

YOUR FORM OF COMBAT IS: Animal Wordplay. You must name an animal beginning with the last letter of the animal your opponent stated. If you cannot this qualifies as an ELIMINATION.
-You may only use words listing animals! You may use animals from your canons that aren't found on earth (eg if you have a space squid called xyglorp, that is a valid animal word).
-You may not repeat in animal in the same battle! If Sol and Leo have a battle, they must only name each animal once. If Sol wins and then goes on to fight Lace, he may say an animal he said in his battle with Leo, but again only once and as long as Lace hasn't already said that animal. If you repeat an animal it's an elimination.

-You may travel through the various locations by moving along the lines of the map (eg mountain can lead to savannah, but not tundra, etc).
-When you encounter eachother you may eliminate one another however you see fit. Losing your chosen form of combat is an instant elimination. You will be immediately ejected to endgame like the graceless loser you are.
-Jack Panther will be stalking the field! He may challenge anyone to whatever form of challenge he sees fit. If he wins you are instantly eliminated! If you manage to defeat him you gain a one time pass on elimination (eg if you lose a challenge or get on the bad end of a trap, you will get a one time save).
-Starting at 8PM EST and every 30 minutes after that one area of the field will experience an event that is an instant elimination for 1/3rd of the people in that area. (eg if there's 3 people, one gets eliminated, 2 people, one gets eliminated, 1 person, you're eliminated sorry).
-The game continues until only one person is left on the field. This will be the game winner for your group.

[You find yourself in a dark room. It's circular and the door you came through has disappeared. There's no way out. From nowhere in particular you hear La Torre's voice:]

Today I have a story for you. Have you ever heard of Egoism? It's an anarchist theory that those who follow it have no obligation to their fellow man. Their sole duty is to live their lives to completion, taking whatever they desire. By force if necessary. If you are an egoist you are absolved of all conscience to your compatriots. Stirner himself once said: "I do not step shyly back from your property, but look upon it always as my property, in which I respect nothing."

There was a man. And he lived in a country where resources were scarce and a long life scarcer. So he resolved himself to a thing. He resolved himself that of his fellows he should be the only one to have the right to life. You see, he was the smartest, the strongest, the fastest, the most civilized and the most savage. He was the culmination and the pinnacle of human evolution. But how do you deny those around you the right to life?

You've stepped through this door of your own resolve. Why are you killing your companions?

[A piece of paper and a pencil appears in everyone's hands. There are two questions on it:

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Everyone should submit answers to the questions (below under TURN-IN) regardless of whether someone on your team has already submitted or not.
2. The most voted form of combat is how characters will defeat one another in the arena. You can pick anything you like. Dance off, rock-paper-scissors, actual combat. Just get enough votes for what you want if you really want it. If there's no majority La Torre will choose for everyone.
3. Skills are on for this game. In the arena you may use, abuse and cheat with them as you will. Characters know this and may want to keep it in mind when choosing the form of combat for their group.

Okay, I don't know about anyone else, but I think our form of combat sould be parkour.

Sounds harmless enough. How do you know who wins though?

You find yourself in front of the ruins of a coliseum. Desert stretches all around it, but the dunes are steep and the sun merciless. It'd be quite the effort to make your way around, but not undoable. The most direct path to the next area is through the ruins.

Heh. Are we all gonna choose a category we think we can beat everyone else in?

A deciduous forest stands before you. You can hear the call of birds, see small animals feeding in the bushes. There's a path to the next area, but it leads straight through the heart of the forest. Where you can see it at least, much of the ground is covered in leaves and sticks from the trees.

You find yourself at the foot of a rocky mountain. To get to the next area you'll have to cross it. But there's only one path, the rest of the mountain being too steep and treacherous to cross.

[nods!]

That's right. It's harmless, yeah?

You find yourself on the shores of a freshwater lake in autumn. A long table is set out with a literal feast. Ham, turkey, corn muffins, biscuits, mashed potatoes── the list goes on and on. It's a Thanksgiving feast! There's even paper pilgrim hats with comically oversized drawn on buckles. Looks pretty good, no? Do you try some?

Parkour?

It's a frozen plain covered in snow and hardy winter brush. You'll have to cross it to get to the next area. There's a few places where the brush clumps together, holding off the drifts of snow. If you're looking for easy walking they're your best bet.

A mid-day savannah stretches out before you. It's quiet and empty── wait, no. You see movement! It seems lions are on the prowl... And you happen to be the only other piece of meat in sight. Perhaps you'd do best to start running.
