[The first thing you notice is snow. It's everywhere, and boy, is it ever cold. There's a five inch deep layer covering the ground, and it's still falling in huge, tennis ball-sized clumps.]
[In the distance, you can just make out a door; it sparkles pretty, winking like a gemstone catching the light. On the ground halfway between you and said door, half buried in the snow, are three large, shivering, super sad plush toys … of three team animals?? Yours, Ometotchtli's, and Tiamat's. By your feet is a warm, snuggly blanket.]
[Isabel's voice echoes from above:] Your first task is BLANKETFIC! Tee hee. But your blanket can only fit around two of the toys—one of them is going to have to be left out in the cold. What do you do?
[You step through the sparkling door, and find yourself in an equally sparkling cavern. It's warm in here, though not so warm that it dispels the chill you may still be feeling from the snow plains. In a circle of torch like are twelve team colored treasure chests: only yours is open, and it contains 11 beautiful crystals.
But you may be paying more attention to the bigass hot pink dragon lounging on an outcropping high above. It's hard to tell in the faint, flickering light, but there's something weird about its scales … is that … is that gummy candy?
Isabel's voice once again echoes from above:]
You made it! Whoo, whoo! Now it's time for Isabel's Dragon Challenge. It's, like, super easy, don't worry! Every team starts this round with eleven gemstones, see? What you've gotta do is steal one or two from the other teams. Just tap the teams' chest and say how many you're gonna steal—you can steal once from two different teams, twice from the same team, just plain ol' once, or not at all!
The three teams with the lowest score are dragon chow, bwahahaha! Seriously though don't worry they'll be, like, just fine, you know.
… and, uh, if you all end with eleven, that counts as everybody losing, 'kay?
[Out of nowhere, a HUGE GLOB of ketchup slops down all over everyone. You now smell delicious, and feel the irresistible compulsion to add "in bed with a rope," or "except in bed" to the end of every other sentence.
It looks like you're welcome to move on now, though—there's another door up ahead.]
[This time you find yourself stepping into a classroom! It's very bland, very typical … there are lots of textbooks, ranging from "Boringness 101" or "Lamestacular Lecture 5000" to "HECK YEAH GIANT LIZARDS" or "Tip Top Makeup Tips!" There's also a whiteboard and pen at the front of the class.]
[Isabel speaks up:]
School is ssssoooo boring, right? Let's spice things up by spreading some rumors about the other teams!
So, like, all you've gotta do is write down the rumors you wanna spread and who they're about, and good ol' Isabel will take care of the rest! You can spread up to three, and I guess if you wanna be super whoa they could all be about the same team …
Shall we spread rumors about Ratatoskr, and continue our streak? Or should we break it up a little, except-- [ except in bed no, looking entirely embarrassed and shutting her mouth ]
