The cage is plenty large enough to fit you and your team, and the iron bars are far too tough to be broken. The cage is suspended by rickety chains over a large pit of fire]

[NEEDLESS TO SAY. . . falling would not be a pleasant experience]

[You can see the other team cages suspended in the air around you. They're far enough away that you can easily hold a private conversation with your team, but close enough that if you yell really loudly, you may be able to talk to them]

[The strange voice speaks up again]

If your oh so caring Haunt is light, then you may consider me d̗͙͊͗a̯̽̒͆ͥ̅r̬̺̙̠͖̠̥ͥk̰̦̲̄n̞̰̠̲͍͍̿̇̎͋͑̆e̜̰ͤͥ̇́̂͌s͚ͤ͗s͔̯͉̰͍͍̥̏ͦ̇͆ͩ̋͋. I will be running this game now-- my name is of no importance to you sorry lot. Listen up, and listen up well.

See those chains? Ah yes, the ones that are keeping you from plummeting to your deaths below. They're old, rickety, and weak. Too much weight will surely break them. So what do you think your goal is? That's right! Try to break the other teams' chains, while keeping yours safe! Ahahaha! Let's see how well you all do!

Ah. . . right. And one last thing.

Basically, echoes aren't supposed to be able to mess with another echo's games. It's the reason why the Queen can't stop these kinds of games altogether.

Which doesn't really answer the question of how this new one's controlling it.

To be honest, I'm useless at this kind of thing. I don't really have strong impressions of any of the teams besides Vanara, and I don't really have a preference how we play.

I don't really get it. I mean, I don't really get why we have to play. But they're not really my team so like, I don't think I can say anything about it?

Well, presumably because if we don't play, the guy in charge will kill us. But for this team, it seems like they're thinking about the after-effects: They want to survive so that they can try to stop the echo running this and rescue their patron...

I'm not sure how they're going to do that, though.

Maybe we could ask another Echo to help, besides Queen. Like, I mean, if this Echo's going outta bounds to take over Vanara's patron, we could tell the other teams' patrons that they're not safe, either. Then we could get them to stop this guy?
