TAKSHAKA
[ The Traveler appears before you as you board your train, which appears to be a team-themed, sparse, and incredibly modern, like the inside of a commuter train. ]
Today's dream is the dream of a conductor, who, despite the worst befalling his world, endeavoured to make sure his train still ran on time. Death ravaged the land, the bloodied bodies of the fallen rising to claim the living as their prey. Decisions had to be made. He had rivals.
Did he save poor lost souls that were not on his schedule? Did he utterly crush his enemies, to assure supremacy and secure his own life? It doesn't matter. He died, in the end, along with his world.
And so to, shall you. Do you wish to attempt to avert the course of history? The story of the Undead Assault Upon The Locomotive Enthusiasts of The Year Two Thousand and Twelve is now yours, and yours alone.
Buckle up.

You need to learn how to take some chances, Nightingale.

Re: TURN-IN
I'm tired of playing it your way, Nightingale. I don't care if those are dream people, but, I am tired of letting people get eaten, even if it is a dream, because we didn't do enough to help them.
Re: TURN-IN
These are dreams. Figments of someone's imagination. You know what's real? Our destroyed worlds, and saving them gets stalled every time we lose. We need to win, and we're graded on how many we can rescue and how many of ourselves survive. The only logical course of action is to save as many as we can without risking ourselves.
If you had a plan to save more people, I'd listen, but 'back the train up on them' is completely stupid and won't work.
