[You land in a boat in the midst of the sea. The boat itself is simple enough, with only two embellisments; a masthead in the shape of a rat’s head, and a clunky-looking cannon sitting right in the middle. Fog surrounds you; you can barely see past the edge of the boat.

There are also a collection of rather sparkly Ratatoskr-coloured cannon balls at your feet.]

We're kinda bad at luck, so might as well choose a random one. Where should we move to? I think going back could be a good idea.

Ah, yes! Let's keep moving forward to 2. Do you think they're gonna try to run?

Yes, they might go back to 5 for a better escape route... but there's still 2 and 4.

They likely have figured out we're in 3 so moving to 2 would be wise. If we hear them, then we can likely pursue them.

Yeah. I say we hit 5, since if they reach it we'll lose them too easily. Even if we miss we're still a shot ahead.
