[You land in a boat in the midst of the sea. The boat itself is simple enough, with only two embellisments; a masthead in the shape of a snake’s head, and a clunky-looking cannon sitting right in the middle. Fog surrounds you; you can barely see past the edge of the boat.

There are also a collection of rather sparkly Takshaka-coloured cannon balls at your feet.]

But forget that, because the answering cannon shot is SO LOUD AND CLOSE THAT IT COULD BE COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE. the only consolation is it's firing away to the left... not that that helps your ears.]

Should we fire at one, five, or seven? Perhaps they will go to five with the same logic we had: "there are many options."

We didn't hit them, but they were north of us...so they were on one, four, or five.

Then, since there was movement...one could have moved to two or four, four could have moved to one, five, or seven, and five could have moved to two, four, six, or eight.

Making two and four the most probable places for them to be.
