- This is a very silly game where you’ll be assigned certain roles and get certain powers, and your goal is to rescue the kingdom! Only those who signed up earlier will be able to play.

- This is an 100% non-trauma game! No NPCs can be really injured, not even if you try, because they’re all ghosts playing along. NPCs also can’t harm you, so you’ll be absolutely fine even if the narration talks about your tragic death by dragon. Violent in-fighting will lead to automatic removal, so you can’t fight other teams either!

- This is a mixed game! To try and keep something vaguely resembling a number balance, you’re grouped up as follows:

- It’s a mix of exploradora and story...dora. You’ll be presented with situations, and you’ll have to interact with the environment creatively to come up with solutions and make a heroic story. You’ll be rewarded for creativity, ICly playing along with your roles and enthusiasm.

- You won’t be able to use any of your normal, shard-based skills or powers! Any attempts will just fizzle out. You will be able to use your special powers from the sign-ups post.

Fey corgi are literally, physically transformed into corgi. However, all fey corgi can still speak.

- You can only use one special ability per round, and each character can only use theirs once in the entire game. You can’t have everyone spam their abilities in one turn, and characters only get one use of their special ability. Use them wisely (or hilariously).

When using your power, please indicate this in the comment. I need to know whether your grand speech is part of using your powers, or whether you’re just really melodramatic!
All these rules (esp. the violence ones) are understood ICly.

[ Welcome to the land of Grindia, brave heroes. You stand in the opulent palace of King Junior IX, who has summoned you for a grave duty. In between quaffing his wine from his golden goblet, the king reveals that the dragon Rodgrot rampages across his lands, and only you can stop it from destroying the kingdom itself.

To help you on your quest, the king has given you a moth-eaten map indicating you should probably travel north, and three copper bits. ]

[ You’ve reached the first stop on the road out the kingdom, the bawdy road of taverns and ladies offering good times - And by good times, they mean live storybook reading and a room full of kittens. There are children in this game, after all. But the taverns are very, very real, and very, very full of ale.

Which has led to a street brawl blocking your path. At least a dozen Manly Men flail at each other with stools and scripted wrestling moves. ]

[ They stare in awe at this puppy, this dancing corgi puppy. No god or man could move such emotions as to stop this riot, but an adorable puppy has done it!

The brawl stops. The path to the tavern and to the north is free. ]

[ On the road to the North, you pass an apple orchard, each of the fifty trees blooming with ripe apples. Delicious, delicious apples. An old lady sits weeping on the side of the road.

The road continues northward. The old lady continues to cry. ]

[ The lady rejoices, free from the burden of paying her taxes. Her orchard is once again hers!

You have now kidnapped the taxman, who weeps that he's only trying to provide for his children in one of the few jobs available in this recession, as he climbs into the cart.

The road to the North is open. ]

[ Speaking of taxes, you've arrived at a toll bridge. Two guards stand on either side, and they demand silver to cross to the forest and the dragon mountain beyond. ]

Unfortunately, he also cries for help from the guards to save him from his kidnapping and these thieves.

You are now UNDER ATTACK BY THE GUARDS. They have swords. ]

[ You have stripped the hard working guards and caused the tax collector to cry in fear of his life. With the road clear, you have reached THE DRAGON MOUNTAIN. You hear a roar from over head, and see the dragon is circling the peaks in flight. A staircase leads into the cavernous mountain. ]
