Years ago, you recieved a charter from the United Empire, and were officially made a member of the newly christened Trade Company! Your goal was to seek fortune wherever it may be found in this strange land...of course, through force of arms, if the natives failed to cooperate.

You continue to work for the Empire, but for your homeland of The United Empire-- but now, to a lesser extent, you also aim to help the people you've come to associate here in Jambudvipa. Your merchant navy is ready to make a fortune -- and maybe even foil the plans of the Imperial Crown and bring the Trade Company to stand as a power in its own right.

Let the trumpets call out freedom -- let your marching shake the ground! Let the cannons be your voices and may redemption soon be found.

The road to revolution is long and bloody, but liberty is worth dying for. Fight and win, for the good of all Jambudvipa.

You are in Meerut, the principal village of the area -- and now, the headquarters of the brewing revolution. Of course, you'd never be able to tell just from looking -- the village life continues as normal, villagers living their lives and tending to their livestock and cultivating their plants.

Things have advanced quite a bit in the years since landfall -- the people of Meerut even now have electricity thanks to a group of heroes, symbolized by a statue of a garishly bright green boar in the village's plaza.

To the NORTH is the SHRINE OF THE EARTH.
To the SOUTHEAST is some jungle.
In the EAST of Meerut, there is a hut of a HEALER that you are acquainted with.

The jungle is vast, and you could definitely get incredibly lost. It's sweltering and humid, and there's all sorts of strange plantlife and huge, creepy beetles and flying bugs.

You should probably get out as soon as possible.

To the EAST is more jungle.
To the NORTH is the NAGA VILLAGE.
To the WEST is LANDFALL.
To the NORTHEAST is MEERUT.
To the SOUTH is the Feywood.

LAKESIDE VILLAGE

You're now standing in the LAKESIDE VILLAGE, the new home of the LAKENAGA. A bridge leading to the middle of the lake connects the village to the TEMPLE OF KADROO.

The NAGA here slither about, fishing and selling their wares sharing the bounty of electricity with the villagers of MEERUT.


To the EAST is the TEMPLE OF KADROO.
To the SOUTH is JUNGLE.

TEMPLE OF KADROO

You're in the main hall of the newly restored Temple of Kadroo (may her light shine upon us all for all eternity). It's decidedly plain for the house of such a powerful being -- the grandest gesture being the statues of the greatest of Kadroo's children with insence lit below them lining the walls...and a relief above the entrance depicting a purple snake with what appears to be some sort of sun-coloured fey sitting atop its head.

Naga priests slither to and fro, taken with their daily rituals.

There is an entrance to the EAST.
To the NORTH is KADROO'S SHRINE.
To the SOUTH is the LITURGY ROOM.
To the WEST is the way back to the LAKESIDE VILLAGE.

This appears to be a throne room more than a shrine, and it's completely dark aside from the dark purple light from the candles lining the watery path up to the throne. You feel...at ease in here, like everything is going to be alright.

To the SOUTH is the TEMPLE OF KADROO.

LANDFALL

Landfall! That's what you all said years ago, when you first arrived here. The once small tradepost on the coast of Jambudvipa is now a bustling port town...appropriately called Landfall. The heroes responsible for the success of this important outpost of Western culture are symbolized by a statue of a pink tiger, ridden by a young lady that could only be described as a princess, both roaring fiercly into the sky.

There are cargo ships currently docked at the piers, and the dock workers are busy hauling crates all around. The townspeople pay you no mind, ducking in and out of the shops and guilds and homes.

To the WEST is the QUARRY.
To the EAST is some jungle.

QUARRY

The quarry is supplied with the latest explosives, and staffed by no one younger than the age of 16! The workers wear green shirts and have a dog's paw stamped upon their helmet, supposedly in remembrance of the dark times when children were forced to work here and of the brave souls who stopped such horrible practices.

...It's pretty deep and even the paths down are incredibly steep. This is probably not a safe place for anyone to work, really. Don't fall in!
