OLD CITY

The old run-down streets of this quarter of the city are riddled with trash, both material and human. The infirm and ill too poor to pay away their conditions lay in the gutters, and really, if they lived in any of the buildings here they wouldn't be much better off. Even if they were, they'd still be starving.

You can practically smell the discontent in the air, but these people are so crushed by the stark realities of their lives it's likely to never amount to anything.

To the NORTH is a RUN-DOWN TAVERN.
To the EAST is THE MARKET.
To the SOUTH is WEST CITY.
