...Protecting Barghest could be an excellent means of ingratiating ourselves with them. However, protecting whichever team you wish to see protected should do no harm to Amalthea's image... Though objectively speaking, the best outcome is one where all teams are protected at least once, so none are left...unprotected.

However, more to the point, we must focus on the message we are sending out to the rest of the teams first. Persuading at least one other team to protect us is paramount as well.

I think saying we have a bird and a child should definitely make one of the teams consider us. Also, Belt isn't here, and everyone seems to have a vendetta against her, so...

Amalthea has benefited from Belt's playing style more than once. Regardless, the game at hand is what is most important.

...It may be best for you to make the first attempt at composing a message regarding the presence of Blaze and myself. I suspect your phrasing is likely to be more...emotionally appealing than my own.
