[as soon as the stabbing pains start, he jerks back and drops the vial to the ground. with a yell, he wraps his arms around his torso and doubles over, trying his best to stifle those coughs]

[S-SHAKES HIS HEAD and presses a hand against his mouth, shoulders shaking]

[he nods, albeit shakily and perhaps the motion is lost in the way his entire body moves with each cough]

[he goes with her movements, plopping down onto the ground next to her. he doesn't even try to argue, he just nods, leans back, and takes a deeeeeep breath through his nose]

[she watches him, frowning and trying not to let her worry show (as well as that will ever work, geez)]
