You are in what looks to be a large operating room (actually cleaned and sterilized!). In the center is a standard operating table, and on either side are two... humanoid beings. Alchemical automatons, made out of metal, flesh, wire, a paper substance - all kinds of substances put together. Their cold, dead black eyes gaze at you. Staring. Empty.

Along the edges of the room are large tubes - containers filled with an odd fluid. Most are empty, except for two - in two are body parts.

It's more difficult to steal something...[ ]

Improving quality seems tempting at first glance. Wouldn't it make the parts we have more difficult to steal too?

I don't think it negates being able to steal the item, just the quality is worse. For the most part the quality would be about the same.

[scratches his head] Right... What about trades? No point until we're more certain of what we need, I think.

We just need the torso, legs, and arms, right? We don't really have anything to trade yet. So maybe stealing and collecting is best... If we're successful it means we'd have four pieces already.

'Course we'll bound to get a bunch of duplicates with our luck.

[chuckles] Way to maintain a positive attitude.

We do need three pieces still, yes. So send one to collect and one to steal?

I play to win. It's just likely we won't or if anyone steals they're go after us. So we've got to get the advance first.

Mm. Then we can focus on raising the attributes of our stuff next round, I think. I doubt anyone's gonna steal this early and if they do they're at least decent enough we won't be first pickings hopefully.

We've managed to evade targeting in games before, in that regard I'd say we're almost lucky.

Let's push for the advance then. Who do we want to steal from? [his first instinct is to say Epona but he's waiting on Midori]

That's true. We did well enough in the game we teamed with Vanara... But I'm not sure if that's because we knocked some teams out first thing or not.

Mm. It doesn't matter to me. This doesn't look like a game someone'd get hurt in, so we could go with anyone.
