Amalthea / Barghest / Lethe.

[ And, with a start, you're somewhere else: A small, whitewashed room with another tinny woman's voice rattling off the walls. ]

Mmm. Well, it's just a guess. But maybe some people think that emotions just get in the way? Making logical decisions and separating yourself from your gut reactions can be pretty important. It can be hard when people you love are involved.

...Eh?

[Making logical decisions and separating yourself from gut reactions sounds incredibly foreign.]

That doesn't sound like something I'd be good at.

Hahah - well, we all have our own strengths, right?

Still, friendship isn't always easy. We'll just have to see where everyone stands.

Yeah. I don't think thinking a lot is one of mine.

I'm not sure why anyone would think it's a weakness though, still. Because having friends is warm and they can be like a family. I'd be really lost if I were alone and even with people I don't know it seems way less stupid--like you and the girl and that other guy being here definitely means I feel better, so isn't that a strength?

I'm Percy, by the way.

[Chuckling and offering a hand.]

Technic. It's nice to meet you.

If you think it's a strength, then stick with your answer. Your reasons are your own, you know?

Nice to meet you! But what do you think?

[gonna be feeling that in my wrist later, that's for sure]

Me?

Mmm - not quite the same reasoning as you, but I'd still call it more of a strength.

What reasons?

[Just curious.]

Just that I know what it's like to draw strength from being alone, as well as having a team and other friends to rely on.

I wouldn't want it taken away, now that I've had a chance to experience it.

So being afraid of having it gone is a weakness?

It can be, though I'm sure it depends on how you look at it.

I'd rather focus on having it, instead of losing it.

I would too. Being afraid is tiring.
