Understood. You believe that emotional connections are a strength. I am incapable of such a response, only a mostly accurate simulacrum of such. However, if was able to acquire the memories and chemical patterning of such a relationship from both sides, then my mimicry of such would become more accurate.

I need both halves of this relationship. It does not need to be romantic; a familial, or even a particularly strong friendship or professional relationship would be effective enough research data.

Will any such among you offer me this?

Painful in either case. A consequence, or a loss of something important which is its own form of pain, would be my guess on the possibilities.

Somehow I think "no" is going to have harsher consequences than an offering.

But I also know I'm not exactly willing to give something that important to me up, even if the alternative is worse.

If it is bothersome to your team, I do not mind taking whatever it is. If there's a choice.

After all, I only remember about five people, and none are here. And the most important relationship I have is not exactly a relationship per se, so I would be fine.
