[Everything is dark. So dark, it's hard to imagine any light making it here... It seems gentle, though, almost protective. But it can't protect you from everything- and there's a rumbling sound in the distance...]

[ taking this opportunity to try and lift and move her ]

[the monster seems to hesitate...

You've freed the girl, and the monster resumes smashing the ground where she was, not even noticing her absence.]

[ and now moving forward, towards the door, pausing before he reaches it to check on her ]

[She walks with you for a bit, before stopping and milling about with the other 8-bit figures.]

Probably because they don't know what to say.

I don't know either, but just because they don't know what to say about your world, doesn't make it right for them to call it a game.

In a game, if you fail a level, you can just go again, can't you? The game wants you to continue, so you should do that.
