Cross' Heart

[ Some of you might recognize yourselves in the common room of the Gulgallana dorms, although that may not be immediately obvious, even to those of you who’ve been there before. The light is low and coming from a few torches lit around the room. The ones still going are guttering. ]

Yes I realize I am literally inside Cross's soul so this might be pointless BUT IT WORKED IN ROXY'S HEART SO]

[ You can definitely feel Cross. He's in the Kitchen... and also in the Mirror room. He's also outside, in his own room and in every other room in the dorm. At the same time. ]

[Jackpot. Let's take another look around though before we go. If nothing's out of place, our ridiculous cherry tree must still be here, right?]

[ The cherry tree is there, but there's a split in the bark that's deep enough to be dark inside. ]

[Oh nooo. Can I see inside? And if not, can I bring a torch over to inspect it closer?]

[ It's black inside, if there's anything in there it's impossible to see. The bark is intact around the crack, though. ]

[ As soon as she touches it the crack starts to seal up, starting from one end and sort of zipping itself closed. The tree is now whole again and the whole room just got brighter and more inviting. ]
