Cross' Heart

[ Some of you might recognize yourselves in the common room of the Gulgallana dorms, although that may not be immediately obvious, even to those of you who’ve been there before. The light is low and coming from a few torches lit around the room. The ones still going are guttering. ]

[ The rabbit sniffs her hand and then bolts when the cat gets too close. ]

[ Gully is now dancing around the barn, waking the other animals. ]

[O-oh fun. Well she's not much of an animal handler, but she tries to maintain her non-threatening posture.]

[ There is food in the barn. Or at least, there is a barrel of something that could be food that Gully just knocked over. ]

[CALM YOUR UDDERS GULLY

She gets up, and laboriously rights the barrel to its proper position. Then she gathers a handful of food, and extends her hand outward, towards the gathered Pokemon.]

[ Some of the others are awake and curious. The cat seems to be the most eager, even pushing the pig and the horse away when they get closer. ]

[She carefully feeds first the ones nearest to her, in amounts corresponding to their size. She feeds first those that do not push. It's a fairly small amount, not enough for them to fight over.

After that, she goes around to feed the others that are further away.]

[ All of the animals seem to enjoy this, and she's getting some grateful gestures from many of them. The only animal that isn't at all receptive is the rabbit, who is hiding under a pile of hay in the far corner of the barn. ]

[She takes her time with each of the animals first, petting and cooing to them, before taking a little more food, and walking towards the pile of hay with the rabbit. She's going to kneel down a safe distance in front of it.]

[ This time it's the horse that's barging in trying to get more food. The rabbit isn't going to come out at this rate. ]

[NO, HORSE, YOU ALREADY ATE. GO HOME. She gives it a stern glare and makes a show of putting the food back in the barrel.]

[ Horse has been defeated for now. But Gully is coming over to help. And by help... well, she's flopping down in the hay where the rabbit is hiding. ]

[First she is coaxing the larger animals back into their pens.]

[ They're all pretty docile, the only one who can't be easily contained is the cow, she wants to play. ]

[She goes along with Gully to the rabbit, covertly taking a bit of food with her.]

[ The rabbit is enticed by food, and seems to be unafraid of Gully. So long as the rest of the animals behave themselves you can feed and pet the rabbit. ]

[She holds the food out in her hand, waiting for the rabbit to eat.]

[ The rabbit comes out to feed. He might even let you pet him. ]

[Pet him she does!]

[ Gully is very excited by that, and now she's mooing loudly. ]

[She laughs, petting her too.]

[ Eventually Gully gets extra excited and starts pushing her toward the door. ]

Very well.

[She walks with the little cow.]
