... Maybe we should hurry up and cross, right? We can use the vines and tie it to something heavy so we can all cross, but how do we stay out of the water?

Do you suppose we could lay them down as we cross? It seems possible!

We could braid the vines to make it way longer and stronger, long enough to cross, and try and lasso that wall-- Actually, lasso a lot of stuff, what if like, that falls over under our weight? Lots of vines, lasso a bunch of stuff on the other side. Then we tie it all up on this end. One of us goes first putting down branches for the planking? And we all tie ourselves to this end and go one at a time so even if the bridge goes down we can get back. And do it over the shallow bit.

...Maybe we could use a sharp stone and turn a thick stick into a spear? In case there are monsters. We totally need a monster stabbing stick.
