[As soon as you enter the game, you find yourself in a vast, seemingly endless forest. The wind blows cold and harsh, whistling through the trees, and you can barely see what’s in front of you. The only light in the area comes from the moon shining down upon you, mostly blocked by the thick branches twisting together overhead. In the distance, it's almost as if you can see and here flashes of movement, moments of sound (a wolf howling, the sound of crying, or even that of screams). Try as you might, you can't tell where any of these sounds come from... Perhaps it would be best to explore and find out. Stranger yet, you feel as if you must explore...
From here, you can go either left or right. The two paths are indistinguishable from each other.]
[heading right, you find that the path narrows, as though the trees are slowly beginning to close in on you. It makes it difficult to walk as a group, and soon you have to go one by one, or else a branch may smack you in the face.
As you proceed, however, you begin to feel a prickle on the back of your neck, as though something's watching your group as they walk along. The temperature begins to drop, the further you get, until you can see your breath misting out in front of you - but just barely.
And then you see it, up ahead and just to the side of the path - a light, moving slowly through the trees, almost hovering there. It seems to tempt you to follow it, to leave the path and go with it between the low-hanging branches.
You can either follow the tempting light, or remain on the path]
[ taking up the rear, naturally, and opting out of the hand-holding, thanks. she does, however, catch the closest Vanara by the back of their collar the second that light gleams out at them. ]
[you decide to follow the path, and thankfully, the path widens as you come to a roped off road. Nothing seems to be stopping you from proceeding, and squinting through the darkness ahead, you see the faint outlines of a chain link fence.
Of course, that light from earlier is there, too, further off the path from before. And like before, you’re welcome to follow it]
[ first thing's first, Wolfwood steps around Chimera (quick hairruffle as she does) and approaches the roped-off roadway. is it possible to remove and acquire the rope? ]
[you arrive at the fence - a gate, actually, with a gap wide enough for you and your team to slip through. Whether you attempt to squint through the darkness, or use the flashlight, you realize very quickly you’ve found yourself in a graveyard, and one that mother nature has decided to reclaim for herself.
The path you followed ends at the gates, grass and vines growing over what once was paved stone. Trees grow here and there, their trunks growing around gravestones and tombs, some through them, leaving behind broken stone. Roots twist up around old, stone benches, other gravestones, and lay over what once must have been light poles; nature was not gentle when it took back this place, and it shows. The only thing that seems to be left alone is a well, just within the reach of your flashlight.
But what’s even more disturbing are the open graves, some that even look as though they’ve been dug out recently. In fact, there’s one right next to the entrance and, peering in, you can see the decomposed remains of whoever was buried there.
Watch your step - who knows what would happen were you to trip and fall into one of them. The only visible way out is the way you came in, however the graveyard does extend beyond what you can see]
[We don't?? have a flashlight??? But maybe their eyes are just used to the moonlight by now. Chimera is being very careful about where he steps, since he really doesn't want to trip over a root or fall into a hole.]

[the path picks up again, and luckily, the trees appear to be thinning out. You find yourself on a driveway and, following it up, you come across a well-lit, two story home. A large, white fence surrounds the property, with the fencing itself trailing off into the woods on either side. It looks as though you have to go through the house to continue.
But through the windows, you see movement - someone's home, perhaps? You’d better knock before you simply walk in]
[you knock on the door/just bust in like a bunch of assholes/something else and - it’s quiet. Despite seeing someone through the window before, there doesn’t actually appear to be anyone home.
You find yourself standing in a foyer; to your left are a set of stairs that go upstairs, and to your right is a combination living/dining room. Ahead of you is a short hallway that leads to a door that leads to the cellar]
[through the woods you go, much like you have been. The path widens, and a few feet ahead you see a sign:
A summer camp! Surely someone there will be able to help you. The path extends ahead past the sign and into where you can make out the faint outlines of cabins]
[you find yourself looking into a small summer camp, likely a friendly and welcoming one during the day. But it isn’t day, and the moonlight is blocked by the trees overhead, with only a ray of moonlight here or there shining through to light your way.
You can see a number of cabins, though, all varying in shape and size. And past them a lake, illuminated by the moon. The water barely ripples, calm. A canoe floats near the middle, as though it escaped the nearby dock and floated there on its own]
