There are a lot of things to be scared about.

But we can be less afraid, because we've got each other to rely on!

Except, Takshaka doesn't really exist in our memories, so, past... us... did not have Takshaka?

That's... true. We can rely on each other in the future, so we won't have to be as scared, then!

I ... guess so ... but, it's still kind of scary.

[barrette]

...It is. [ reaches to take his hand ] I'm scared about some of the stuff in my memories, too.

I am, too. Because, uh, there are a lot of scary things, and I kind of got a good ... example of that ... so, I'm scared that there are a lot of things that are worse than being paralyzed.

If there are, I hope you never ever have to go through them. That memory was more than enough for anyone.

[ gently squeezes his hand ]

I'm scared I'm going to remember I don't have a family at home. I haven't really remembered anyone except a boy I must have known.

Maybe ... you will remember something, because from what I have been told about families, not having one sounds like it could be really lonely.

I think it would be lonely, too.

What kind of stuff do you want to remember?

Stuff that is happy. Like, playing games with my lusus, and stuff. Or just... anything that is happy, in general. I'm not really picky.

I'd like to remember more about Pokemon. There's one I know, called a Piplup, and I think he and I were going to battle together!

[pchaaair]

What is a Piplup? Aside from a pokemon, that is.

[barrette]

They're tiny blue creatures! With a beak, and tiny feet and flippers for wings!

If I can, I'll introduce you to him one day!

—Really??? I want to meet him. Because, I like animals, but, he also sounds really cute, anyway.

[barrette]

Really really!

I promise, I'll introduce you to him one day. And in return, will you promise to introduce me to your lusus one day?

Um. Yeah. You can meet my lusus, and I can meet Piplup, and then it will be a lot of awesome, and stuff?
