[When you come to, you find yourself locked in a small, cramped, antique elevator. One wall is covered with a large, ornate mirror, and a chandelier hangs above your head. The doors are made of metal and shut very, very tightly. The lights are off.]

[You hear two familiar voices echo distantly in your mind]

LET ME GO, Ǧ̲̖̩̞̣̲̌Ĩ͎R̞̩͎̝̍L̹̳̫̾͛Ȉ͙͈̬͐͒ͭ̄̌̊E̥̥̓ͨ!

I won't let you hurt them!

[Before you have time to say anything, the elevator suddenly jolts, before it begins to plummet. Your heart drops to the pit of your stomach as you fall, fall, fall, and then. . .]

[Suddenly it stops. You're thrown off balance, possibly to the point of where you crash into a wall or a nearby neighbor. All is silent]

[ Just bumping right into a wall here and then forward onto her face. Ever graceful, this one. ]

[ it's okay, this one just face planted onto the ground and is whining about it ]

Nghf... [ rubbing her face ]

Okay... [ looking over ] You okay? Nothing broken?

I don't think so, but my nose is sore...

Okay, well... We'll get Katie to help with that later. For now, we n-need to move.

[ Or so that's what she got out of what the voice said. She does stop for a moment, however, to take off her sneakers and socks. ]

I probably won't be able to use my tremor sense very well here, but just in case...

Okay. Let's see if we can just... [ open the elevator doors and have a look? ]

[the elevator doors are shut super tightly. it might take a bit of force to get through them]

[ It's time for crowbar hand to make its first ever appearance in Kyr! And she'll definitely give it some additional oomph! ]

[ /cheerleads from the background ]

[the doors rattle underneath crowbar hand's immense force! but they still don't open. they are really stubborn, here]

Geez, really? Fine, then...

[ She turns her other hand into a crowbar as well and wedges that in, really turning on the extra strength juice. ]

You might... want to look around while I work on this. [ grunted ]

Uh, right...

[ going to head over to that mirror and peer into it ]

[the mirror is large, ornate, and completely and utterly normal. your reflection stares back at you, mirroring your expression, just like a normal mirror should]

[but]

[but. . .]

[. . .]

[in the mirror your eyes are red]

[ speaking to Ren ]

Tell me, are my eyes red right now?

Eh? [ Ren cranes her neck back. ] You mean n-normally? 'Cause I don't... think so, no.

Okay, because my eyes are red in this reflection.

[his eyes are red in the reflection]

[a hand suddenly shoots from out of the mirror, snatching at his wrist, its touch ice cold like glass]

--Shit!

[ fighting back against that hand, trying to pull himself out of it's grasp! ]

[ Well, that's not good. 'Damn!' She's going to have to leave the door so she can go over there and take her dumb metal bar hands to the mirror, brutal-style. ]

[the hand yanks, it yanks and it pulls and it drags Shima towards the looking glass. he can hear his own voice echoing in his head, low and sinister]

C o m e b a c k.

[. . . at least the voice is cut off when Ren takes her crowbar hands to the mirror, shattering it completely, shards of glass scattering across the ground at her feet. the reflection shrieks, the screams echoing throughout both of their minds, before the voice fades]

[there is a hole behind the now broken mirror]

[ Ren's feet are already adapting themselves accordingly, since that's one of her more helpful passives. She breathes in and out evenly as the screams in her head subside. ]

O... Okay... That... could've been worse.

Should we... try and see where that hole goes?

[ and he's just going to avoid touching those glass shards on the ground ]

Considering the time... [ And the fact that the doors seem determined to be shut... She lets her hands go back to normal, while reverting her body to steel. ] I think we should.

No objections if I go first?
