And speaking of breaking, he'll be stepping off of Yato for the moment and starting to twist her arm a bit. ]

[she starts pulling at his hand with her other hand, still squirming. This is gonna great]

[ It'll be totally awesome. Really. Both are going to have a blast.

And oh, he is leaving him alone... for now. For this second. He doesn't say anything, though. He's just going to position Star's arm in very uncomfortable position. He isn't going through with it yet, and he seems like he's hurting from this. ]

[Yeah, she can see that. She doesn't know exactly what's at play here, but she's flinching and biting her lip.]

[Her struggles to escape start to cease. Better to play along, maybe it'll be quick?]

[ This makes it 500% more awful and he wants to die inside. When that struggle is down, at least he knows he can make a clean break. ]

Maya. [ There's a bit of a gentleness in his deep voice, but that doesn't last long as he gives her arm a jerk in a direction it shouldn't go with the bracing happening with the other hand. There's a nice cracking sound. Was that her arm or his heart? We're not sure. ]

[That's right, he knows her name. And she knows him. This man..... he's Mia's special someone. Even if Mia isn't here, he is. He looked out for her sister..... she has to trust him to look out for her, too, doesn't she? No matter how much that little voice in her head keeps whispering that he can't be trusted, he'll hurt her, he'll betray her, just like them. Just like everyone.]

[But.... she can see what he's doing is hurting him, too, and he's been popping in on her, getting angry when her answers weren't guessed, she---]

[ Once the deed is done, he doesn't immediately remove his hands, looking at the work he did, which is far from pleasant to view. But his hands soon drop from her arm and he meets her eyes. ]

You should see if you can get a split on that as soon as you can.

[ He doesn't care about the goddamn tinglings that may be feeling from that. And as hard as it is to look her in the eye, he isn't going to look away from her. That'd be too cowardly not to face this straight on. And be a disservice to her, considering how scared she's been and terrible she's looked the entire game. ]

[Her struggles have definitely ceased. She isn't trying to get away from him, or stop him, just waiting for the rest of the punishments to come. She's already feeling nauseated and all of this - especially the part where she can't help the people precious to her - is terrifying, so.]

[On the other hand, she's only able to keep eye contact with him for a short period of time, before she's lowering her head again. And she's still trembling.]

[ All he wants to do right now is comfort her, give her some words of reassurance... tell her that she did help out during the game, that she tried hard. But he can't. Not without getting her and him into some deep trouble. So he's going to turn his attention away from her... and, if she'll let him, he'll be taking care of his business with Yato on the ground. ]

[probably not. Terrified, broken arm or not, she has to at least make an effort-- she's going to tug at his arm as he tries to go after Yato]

[ ..In that case, he'll glance at her out of the corner of his eye. Don't make him do anything else, Star. Because he doesn't want to be overly cruel, but he has no real choice here. ]

[ don't mind Yato, he's still just been lying on the floor, motionless and yelling profanity at you ]

[ Really, he doesn't blame Yato in the slightest for every last profanity being yelled out. ]

[Still trying to pull his arm away, but he's also trying to impede him herself. Oops.]

[ ...In this case, he's going to put a halt on things and focus on his pendant and switch it over to Time. So she can freeze for a few while he jabs his needle into Yato because he doesn't want to cause her more damage than needed. ]
