( your squad captain, a young elven man, leads you into a hut with a "⏄" symbol above the door and all of the tapestries and flags are YELLOW. on the table there are several weapons laid out onto a table. there are swords and shields, bows and arrows, and magic staves. )

Before you explore the village, decide on how you wish to arm yourself. This is a warzone and I suggest you not go unarmed, but you must all be unified on your decision.

I would think the swords would be the easiest for the untrained to use. Magic takes training, and bows and arrows are difficult if you do not know what you are doing.

We have intel that the village will be attacked at nightfall from one of our scouts. We are unsure which one may be but both the Black and and Green armies are camped nearby. We are unable to predict what tactics they may use against us. As a unit, I ask that you all agree on what you shall do to protect both yourselves and those that live within the village.

I am sorry, but please use your best judgement.

Will you erect a barrier using my talismans, assign four soldiers to guard the entrances to the village, or shall you take the first strike and engage them head on? You may only use the talismans only once.

each one of your guards have been stabbed somewhere by a sword. the strike against HEELS, however, has proven fatal, the sword running right through them. once again, you must decide how to defend the village. )

( natalie and jasper have left the village to scout out the other armies for information, however they don't make it anywhere near the enemy camps before getting whisked away by bandits. they are tied up and thrown onto the floor of one of their tents, but otherwise unharmed.

the bandits, however, take this opportunity to set fire to the village. considering the location and materials that the houses of made of, the fire begins to rapidly spread.

looks like your original options are out the window, how will you save the village now? )
