[ You find yourself in Yato's bedroom. HOORAY. Just where you've always wanted to be!!!
Though unlike his real bedroom, this one is full of things. And not just those tracksuits crumpled up on his bed or those weird stuffed animals in the corner. No, there are also building materials-- wood and stone and clay and the like-- set out deliberately on the floor. His dresser is full of cloth and sewing supplies. His drawing table is covered with all sorts of art supplies. And there's finger paints and glitter and silly scissors and candy and old CDs and more...
But there's something else you've suddenly become keenly aware of: while you're in here, the rest of your friends and teammates are out there. Out in the real world.
And they're forgetting you. As you stand here, wasting time in this asshole's bedroom, you know for a fact they're starting to forget about you, forgetting that you ever existed.
And you also know what that means now. Once the people out there completely forget that you exist, you won't exist. If you're sure of anything, you're sure of this fact.
In fact, you can almost feel yourself starting to fade away already . . . are-- are your fingers becoming transparent?!
You have to do something, fast. ]
[ But if you can't figure out what on your own, maybe that gentleman by the exit can help-- ]
Okay no. No that won't help at all. What would help? What could he do in this room, that'd help? It doesn't take him very long to decide on something, at least. How do you make sure you won't be forgotten? Even a inkling would be better than not existing. Something that will mean they can't forget you ever existed, right?
So something, anything, that he makes, that nobody would be able to look at without thinking of him? Something like that. A material object that can't vanish even if he WAS forgotten. So he starts picking stuff out of the materials, mostly clay and paint and..is trying to make a little pig with his haircut.]
[ You're in a pleasant little field at early dusk. It feels like late summer, and fireflies dot the air. Beside you is a massive old cherry tree still (somehow) in full bloom, and underneath is stands a young woman in white and red robes, smiling at you. She's cradling a large stack of wooden plaques in her arms. And she's pressed up against the trunk, facing away from the house in the distance.
The house, which is built in an ancient Japanese style. And further beyond that still is the vague outline of what might be a shrine. And on all sides, you’re surrounded by a fence, and beyond that... shadows?
--Oh, wait. To be more specific: the woman is smiling down at you.
Because suddenly, you are much shorter, and you feel much younger. You are, in fact, a kid now.
[ Congratulations. You've arrived at your final destination
...and it's not in good shape.
Are you in a cave? In a corridor? Are you outside? It's honestly difficult to tell. The walls are unnaturally dark and deep, as if the shadows themselves have mass, and the darkness is bleeding into the stone floor under your feet, where rivulets of dark water run north.
There are patches of shadow surrounding you that are only just light enough to see through, and beyond them you can barely make out the shapes of various broken structures-- a bisected ferris wheel, a burnt-out house, a crumbling mansion... There's no way to reach them, though. You can't pass through the walls; your only option is to move forward. ]
[ Once you've gotten away from the hands (or have been dumped here), you can make it to the clearing in this shadowy corridor.
--OH, but before you can go any further now... from the other end up the corridor, the way you just came from, that tall man in the suit from before is running towards you! Carrying a large suitcase this time. ]
Don't go ahead yet! Here, here, do you still have what you made before?
