[The music is kiiiind of freaking him out a little bit - especially the change to the record player. He's going to reach out and maybe try and, touch it and see what the hell is wrong.]
[Inside the desk drawer are sheets of music. Touching them fills you with a real sense of calm, different from the artificial, forced kind of calm that permeated the rest of the room when you entered. When the loneliness and pain become too much to handle, this is what you can turn to. This is one of the things that makes you happiest.]
[You open the closet and the entire room changes. What was neat and orderly a moment ago now looks like a tornado has passed through. All the furniture is now in disarray, strewn all around. A layer of debris and filth is spread over the floor, and messages are scrawled angrily on the walls:
Why was I born?
Why didn’t they love me?
What did I do wrong?
If you look closely, you can see the writing instruments that were used to write the messages not far from where they’re written.
Additionally, you can now see a variety of objects in the closet. There’s a small model of a birthday cake, a doll, some strange kind of gun, a throw pillow that has the word “family" embroidered onto it, a small potion bottle, and… a razor?
You think you can glimpse something else at the back of the closet, but something tells you that these items are important. Perhaps you should look through them?]
[As you pick up the doll, you may notice that it’s face bears no recognizable features. The clothing it’s wearing, too, is completely blank without anything to distinguish it. You receive a memory that spans years.]
[The music box fills you with a feeling of loneliness and despair. You're never going to be enough. You're only a meager replacement for what people really desired of you.]

Re: HOUSE
[that's a flat out lie. Coming to check out the record player with Knight tho]
Re: HOUSE
Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me help me help me help me help me help me help me help me
[It doesn’t show signs of stopping unless interrupted.]
Re: HOUSE
That's what we're here to do, Natalie.

[HE IS BEEN THROUGH WAAAY TOO MANY HEARTS TO START OFF ON THIS LEVEL OF WIGGED OUT, THANKS, he addresses the record player directly.]

[Translation: I DON'T KNOW HOW RECORD PLAYERS WORK, I am instead going to touch the desk and look through the doors to find something useful.]

[He's... gonna take the music sheets. These feel capital-I Important. Especially given all the musical hints their finding.]
...Seems like music's always been her way to keep herself stable. Found these in the desk.

Maybe we should look for another record in here somewhere. Something more soothing.

That's... not great.]
Jeez, what the hell was that?
[He's going to... move over and investigate the closet, now. Still holding the music sheets tightly.]

...What a miserable life she must have had...
[Let's go for the most obvious SAD THING, and see what the doll is about.]
