[When the game starts you find yourselves on a platform. At least this part is pretty relaxing as it's large enough to fit a table with six (or seven) chairs around and that may be the place you want to sit at for now. There's several pieces of parchment laying on the table and a box in the center.

Of course, if you were careful you might want to pay attention to what's before you. Because immediately after the platform is a slide that ends in a pit of water? That turns into a dark forest. In what looks like a mile across is another large platform, presumably the end. Though that's all you can see right now.]

There will be a slip of paper for each member of the team. On this one each member will need to answer three questions. You cannot converse about these answers among each other. Somehow, it also feels like you don't have long to answer these ones.
Can you trust those you're with?
Who is the person you dislike the most within your team?
What do you think makes up your team?

There also seems to be another slip of paper once those ones are finished. This one is for your team as whole to answer.
Who are your biggest competitors?
You can choose three of ten items. Choose wisely! The might be able to help you when the time comes:
a rope, a sword, a mirror, a paracute, a shield, a book, a grappling hook, a tent, a fruit, a torch (seemingly magically lighted)

OOC: As a note, all questions must be answered honestly! No matter what the will feel the compulsion to sa what's on their mind. The only ones this might really effect is the competitors question because all others will be unsaid to each other. Even if you look at someone else's paper you won't be able to see what they wrote!

I only know the name of two teams... and only one seemed offended by our presence. Even then it seemed to be based on color alone- Barghest.

Items, huh? [looks over to the obstacle course] Probably has to do with that.

I know all the team names.

[Pause and then he actually looks amused which is probably the most he's emoted in front of Big Boss.] I would like to have Barghest as rivals.

More than likely. A sword would help.

It won't weigh us down too much at least. The hook and rope might have good use as well.

[And now he's looking at his wings with a frown.]

You will find on your table the three items you've chosen as well as a bracelet. The papers have disappered as have the chairs. Once you pick up the items the table, too, will disappear leaving just your team and the slide before you.
Pressing the button will allow you to effectively "pause" the course. This can only be used to go back to the main field and talk to other teams. It can work for one member or all of your teammates. You can easily leave and return with this method. Talking to other teams will not give you a penalty if you choose to use this. (This can also account for members of the team coming and going with player availability)

You can also quit at any time! If you wish to quit all you have to say is Osmar's name and it will end the game for you. Asking to quit will not penalize you, but if you end early that means your out of at leas one win type.
For now, you can just slide down. There's nothing more to do here.

But once you're in the water it seems to be wider than you thought! It gets deeper quickly, too, and the torrent is rough. You're fine in the shallow end, but maybe you should find another way across?

To the left is a small cliff. It doesn't look bad to climb up and maybe it will give you a better idea of if you want to go into the river or not.

To the right is what seems to be an empty part of the field. A few steps in will show that there's patches of mud where you seem to sink. Not quite quick-sand, but you might want to take a moment to consider your options.

Or you can just go forward. You won't drown, but you might end up way more off course than you thought.

Height seems the most to our advantage.

Yeah... at the least we might get a better view of where we need to be.

Also that table just disappeared... these things could do. Let's be smart in using them.

It seems unlikely. It's part of the game. Why limit our choices and then take them?

Could be so we don't throw all our possibilities at every problem. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Using that is probably a better idea than trying to climb on our own.

Once you're on top of the cliff, you can see that you can cross over by skipping over the rocks. But there's a bit an issue here. There seems to be jumping trout?

Unless you're really agile you might fall in and... down a waterfall?!

But on the other side is definitely where you want to be. You can see the practice dummies from here.

To make maters worse you feel like you're being tugged toward your teammate! It looks like whatever happens you're in this together.
