VANARA

[The room you are in smells like burnt wood and sulfur. The room itself seems uncomfortably hot, but not unbearably so.]

[It's a relatively plain room, with beige wallpaper and a white tile floor. The lights above you are tinted red, and they flicker on and off in regular intervals. There's an old timey wood burning oven affixed to the wall in front of you. Inside the hearth a fire burns, the flames licking and dancing around wooden logs. In a circle, positioned on the other three walls of the room, are seven different doors. Each door has a nameplate on it with the following words written in fancy lettering:]

LUST
GLUTTONY
GREED
PRIDE
WRATH
SLOTH
ENVY

Oh, this is cute.

[she doesn't look amused anymore]

Yeah, no kidding. I'm doing whatever the task is and putting tokens down.

[Eyeing the pride door more than anything right now]

I'll help.

[the more the merrier, right?]

( chiming in. )

I'll join you two.

Either Pride or Wrath, maybe?

[He's looking between the two options, arms crossed over his chest]

I'll be putting in 75 tokens.

Wrath sounds like us killing each other.

Probably shelf that one unless you want that on your hands.

Good idea.

Pride then?

[He'll stand through anything thrown at them. Pride is an issue he has.]

I can accept that.

Alright. If everyone else agrees on Pride, we'll do that. Whatever door it is, I'm throwing tokens in.

Doesn't matter. Each one is going to going to be painful.

Just decide on the flavour. Body or mind.

Lust, gluttony, wrath, and sloth are probably bodily.

Maybe not those, then?

That's my suggestion.

Pride and envy are a consideration.

Envy sounds... bad.

[since this is a group activity and all.]

They all sound pretty bad.

Beats me. They all sound like tons of fun.

Poltergeist's... uh, this guy's games are always really, really bad.

[so her assessment is correct. lots of fun is going to be had today.]

I did get that impression.

...I dunno how much I can do, but I'll offer a bunch of my token things.

Don't go offering a "bunch" just yet. Maybe we should see how all of this'll go first. Call it a trial round.

Whatever door we decide, I'm leaning toward Pride, personally, I'm throwing in 75 this round.
