[After circumstances conspired to separate those who went into the maze, they split into three groups, each group taking one fork in the road.

The wisp of light they were following gleefully bobs up and down as it's followed, slowing down just enough so it doesn't lose those following it, then speeding off around the next corner as soon as they start to catch up.]
