He was lancing his sword out at a distance, so he more than flinches when the whip actually comes into contact with him, tearing at his leg.
And the feeling accompanied with that is AWFUL. Feeling trapped is the worst and despite the fact that he hasn't felt like this in quite a while, it still feels so familiar, so suffocatingly comfortable due to years and years of being used to it...]
