with your combined weight on top of the mechanism, it sinks to the level of the floor. you hear inside the walls something shift and click. downstairs, the forcefield preventing access to the preferred player room completely disappears, albeit you can’t confirm that until you rejoin the others. wasn’t there a way to get directly back into the casino proper…? )
