GULGALLANA

[ You find yourself in a section of the maze walled off by hedges sporting glowing orange flowers. Several tree stumps with rich velvet cushions on them surround a much larger stump, upon which lie a number of cards... ]

[Then, first thing's first, check up on the Cat.]

How are you feeling now, Aoko? Is it still effecting you?
clocksandroses: (Or you. You're stupid.)

[peeks out from behind her hands]

M-Mm, I'm fine now . . . It's stopped.

Then, the important question is... Which one should we go with next? I'm thinking of grabbing The Hermit myself. I can't really picture what the effect would actually do, though.

The Hermit doesn't... look. Bad.

It certainly doesn't. Hermits are isolated people aren't they?

The person who picks it would be alone for a while. Or even possibly the rest of the game.

Or they could just feel like they're alone.

[that's always terrible enough]

That's also an option too, I suppose.

What about the Wheel of Fortune? M-Maybe that'd just make somebody dizzy.

I don't know, that card has too much symbolism for my tastes. A snake, a dragon, and a sphinx circle a wheel while various winged beings watch it while reading... There's so much symbolism there it could do almost anything.
clocksandroses: (Unsuuuure.)

That's true . . .

[Peers at the Hermit.]

Re: DISCUSSION

The Hermit's simple enough. An old man with a lantern and walking stick looks down from what appears to be a mountain. It's still no guarantee it won't do anything weird, but the symbolism's just a bit higher than Justice, so it should be fine.

You've done a lot for us already. We have to do our part too, after all.

It's possible that we all may have to go through all of the cards. We should divide them up so no one gets too many of them.
